Do I need to paint my house before the siding installation?

No, if we are installing vinyl siding, we will go over your existing siding and you will never have to paint again.

If we are installing James Hardie® siding, we will detach your existing siding and replace it with James Hardie® it comes with 15-year ColorPlus warranty.

Soffits and Eaves – How will I maintain them in the future?

The nice thing about new building products is they almost all come with 25 year warranties making the exterior of your home virtually maintenance free.

What about colour options?

Feed back from some of our customers is there are to many colours to choose from. Our sales team will have plenty of samples to help you choose the right colours for your home.

Will the siding crack, fade, buckle, or sag?

Siding technology has drastically improved, product’s chemistry and installation techniques have also improved so siding performance is no longer plagued by this past symptoms.

What are my design options?

Design options are endless from new color choices, different patterns and products,Wainscot wood-appearance, window treatments. You don’t have to be an architect to know when a home’s design feels right

What about rot?

If you’re considering fiber cement siding, you want to know whether it is susceptible to rot. Put simply — no. This type of siding is made from four simple ingredients: cement, wood pulp, water and a type of filler. None of these materials is affected by rot.

Will I ever have to do anything to my new siding?

Every 6-12 months, wash your siding with a garden hose. The low pressure water spray will protect your home exterior. Avoid the temptation to use your power washer because it could damage your siding. Use a soft, (non-metal) siding cleaning brush.

What if it is damaged?

Repairing a damaged panel is simple. Dents, chips, cracks and other minor surface damage in siding and trim products can be filled with cementitious patching compound.

Is my new siding energy efficient?

New insulated siding can add another R2 to R4 to your home.
Standard vinyl siding has an R-value of 0.61, and Hardie siding’s R-value is 0.37. While vinyl siding is more energy-efficient, neither makes a significant difference in how much energy your home will save.

Should I consider vinyl for my home?

Due to how a vinyl siding is manufactured, it can stand against various outside temperatures that involve extreme heat, cold, and moisture. In fact, it can even protect your home from strong winds and prevent the foundation’s structure from falling apart.
